AT SIMATS we have a well defined mechanism is in place to obtain structured feedback on curricula/syllabi from various stakeholders. We gather the opinions from students, teachers, employers, alumni and professionals. The ultimate aim of stakeholder’s feedback is to get useful informations and insights to improve the teaching, learning, assessment process and capacity of students. We believe in continuous and periodical evaluation of the teaching learning process to shape the curriculum.
SIMATS provide flexibility in curriculum which is expected to facilitate the development of multidisciplinary skills among students. The existing curriculum undergoes through a series of elabroated evaluation procedures through an active feedback system involving students, teachers, alumni, employers and academicians of other recognised bodies. After the compilation of obtained feedback from all the mentioned stakeholders, they are discussed in the curriculum review committee (CRC) to impart any necessary changes in the curriculum. Appropriate changes are discussed in the Board of Studies (BOS) meeting and upon recommendations by the committee, the changes are incorporated.
