10th Saveetha Transdisciplinary Annual Research Summit - Star Summit 2023
The 10th Saveetha Transdisciplinary Annual Research Summit - Star Summit 2023 was held from 12th to 16th June 2023 at Saveetha Dental College. The event was a significant gathering of researchers and scholars in the field. Throughout the symposium, several esteemed chief guests attended on different days, adding to the prestige of the event. The symposium witnessed a remarkable display of research posters, with more than 3217 posters presented by undergraduate and postgraduate students, representing over 600 participants. The evaluation process was rigorous and involved the participation of 300+ invited judges, along with over 1000 peer judges. Each session recognized outstanding work with three awards, and an overall Best Poster award was chosen, making the event a grand research symposium.
An exceptional achievement was also noted during the event. Saveetha Dental College set a world record for "World's First Dental Institution to showcase Maximum Innovative
Scientific Presentations in a Single Event," which further added to the significance of the symposium. Awarded by the American Book of World Records.
The event concluded with the distribution of awards to all the recipients of the best poster awards.
